How do I rate CORGI members?
We believe that you should get a safe and professional job from every single one of our members. Unlike other sites that offer rating systems, you’ll never find a ‘one star’ CORGI member. We do however like to hear about how our members are performing – this feedback directly influences who can stay on our list. If you’d like to give us feedback about a member please use the
Contact Us form.
How do you stop the rogue traders getting on your list?
Only the good tradespeople can join CORGI. Before we let someone onto our list we make sure they have the right insurance in place, we check their qualifications and professional body memberships, take up references from previous customers and use feedback provided from members of the public. We also have things in place to ensure that once on our list, members stay at the top of their game.
I’m looking for a tradesperson but CORGI doesn’t have anyone local to me – what can I do?
Check with the nearest member on the list – many of our members will travel some distance to help you. Also, check back frequently as new members are joining all the time.
Are CORGI members on the Gas Safe Register?
We ensure that all our Gas Engineers are on the gas safe register when they join and every year to ensure they are complying with the law in the UK.
How do I complain about a CORGI member?
Simply fill in the
Contact Us form and we will investigate any complaints fairly and quickly.
The price quoted by a CORGI Approved member seems high, how can I check it?
We recommend you always get at least 3 quotes for the work you need doing, this ensures you can compare different quotes and achieve best value for money. Our Quote Request service allows you to simply enter the job details once and contact up to 10 of our members at a time.
Remember that often work involved is not always visible to you, so the bit you see isn’t always the total of the job. Our members promise to provide you with a full written quote in plain English so you will be able to see all the elements that make up the job and you can easily compare prices.
